Sally Squire is a full-time artist since 1998 who holds an extensive background in jewelry design, 3D art and mixed media, Sally Squire has been working with ceramics for almost ten years. In the past decade, porcelain has become a critical component in Squire’s artwork and expression.
Sally Squire was born in Minnesota, but her family has had roots in Oregon since she was six months old.
Squire graduated from high school in Salem and went on to get her degree from the University of Oregon’s School of Architecture.
Her work is largely inspired by nature and Squire takes pride in her ability to problem solve when it comes to learning new techniques.
Squire’s art has been featured in several galleries, including Guardino Gallery, Murdoch Collections (Portland), Open Studios and other local establishments and retailers including Design Furniture Gallery in Seattle, WA, Bedford Brown in Portland, and other retail establishments.
